What is the purpose of this web page?
This document sets out AZMen's Content Moderation Policy (“Policy”). This Policy explains when, why, and how AZMen can moderate content, and how content that violates AZMen's Terms of Service is handled. If you are a AZMen user, this Policy forms part of your legal agreement with AZMen. Please carefully read this Policy in full. Here are a few key things to note:
- Our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines explain what is and what is not permitted on AZMen.
- Interpretation: Unless specifically defined in this Policy, the meanings given to words defined in the Terms of Service have the same meanings in this Policy.
When does AZMen moderate content?
We moderate content to ensure it complies with our Terms of Service, which include our Community Guidelines.
Why does AZMen moderate content?
We moderate content to protect the integrity of our platform, maintain a safe environment for users, and ensure compliance with our mission to focus on editorial and cultural depictions of celebrity nudity.
What type of content does AZMen moderate?
At any time, we can choose to review and remove content shared on AZMen, including text, audio, images, direct messages, and videos, if such content does not align with our purpose and guidelines.
How does AZMen moderate content?
We use advanced digital technologies in conjunction with human moderation to verify compliance with our Terms of Service. Our trained moderators review and take action on content that they believe violates our guidelines.
What technology does AZMen use to moderate content?
We use a variety of technology tools to identify content that may violate our Terms of Service. These include:
- Hashlists and stop words: These scan media, audio, and text to block terms and images that are not permitted. Hashlists are collections of unique identifiers assigned to harmful or prohibited online media, such as non-consensual intimate images (NCII) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Content that matches a restricted hashlist or stop word is automatically blocked.
- Image and text scanning technology: These tools assist human moderators by flagging potentially violative content for review. Moderators evaluate flagged content to ensure compliance prior to any deactivation decisions.
What happens if a user shares improper content?
If a user shares content that violates AZMen's Terms of Service, we may:
- Deactivate the content,
- Issue a warning,
- Issue a final warning,
- Deactivate the account,
- Ban the account holder from the AZMen platform.
Serious violations or repeated breaches of AZMen's Terms of Service may result in permanent suspension of the user’s account(s) and prohibition from creating new accounts.
Why might AZMen remove content?
Content is typically removed for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy, such as content that:
- Features a celebrity whose identity we cannot verify as being over 18.
- Includes content that is wholly AI-generated or impersonates real individuals.
- Depicts fictional or role-play scenarios of underage characters.
- Is sexually explicit and includes individuals whose identity, age, or consent cannot be confirmed.
- Depicts nudity in a public place or in inappropriate contexts (e.g., involving animals).
- Is illegal where the user resides or where the content was captured.
- Contains depictions of blood, violence, or extreme material.
- Promotes the use of weapons or illegal drugs.
- Depicts objects being used dangerously or in ways likely to cause harm.
What does AZMen do about illegal content?
Illegal content is immediately deactivated, and we report such cases to relevant law enforcement or partner organizations, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through their Cyber Tipline.
How can a user appeal a content moderation decision?
